Landscape maintenance
The Association is responsible for landscape maintenance of all property, both common and individual homeowners. The reason that the association is providing this is to ensure that all vegetation gets cut and trimmed in a timely fashion.
Landscape maintenance means basic maintenance of landscaping such as cutting, trimming of lawns and shrubs, including trees up to 8 ft high. It also means basic fertilization of lawns, shrubs and trees.
Association responsibility
This is an outline of what the association does:
- Biweekly cutting of lawns (weekly cuts during summer).
- Monthly cutting and pruning of shrubs and trees less than 8 ft tall.
- Monthly weeding.
- Quarterly application of fertilization.
- Annual trimming of high trees.
Homeowner responsibility
While the day to day maintenance of each homeowners landscaping is taken care of by the association, each individual homeowner is still responsible for the complete care and maintenance of their individual landscaping. This includes:
- Replacement of any shrubs and other landscaping that dies.
- Planting of annuals.
- Removal and replacement of any trees that dies.
- Treatment of plants with disease.
